NASA Tour January 2018

The purpose of life is to be a winner, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have what you dreamt about, to make some difference with your achievements so the whole world look at you as an example. Exactly this is our aim to make our students stand different from the crowd and our efforts always bring fruit this time it is about NASA tour yes you read it right our students got selected to visit NASA and they left for America today morning along with our respected Vice Principal Mr Deepak Arora. Honorable Principal of the school Mr A. S. Sekhon was also present there to wish the luck to whole team. While motivating the students he said:-
“Focus on your work. Do what you're great at. Don't compare yourself to others or waste time criticizing the lives and work of others. Do what matters most to you and make a difference doing that.”


They say cooking is an art we say it is an art of intelligent,creative and inspired people....!

Yes our students proved it as they made all these recipes without using fire.....Our students made the most inovative dishes in "COOKING WITHOUT FIRE" Contest. Honorable Director Mrs Ruchi Anand, Respected Principal Mr AS Sekhon and Respected Vice Principal Mr Deepak Arora motivated students for their participation.

APS organised 26 Annual Prize Distribution Function

Anand Public Sen Sec School celebrated its 26th Annual Function on 7th Dec,2016. General Manager, RCF Mr R.P.Nibariya graced the event with his presence as Chief Guest. Chairperson Anand Group Mrs Varinder Kumari Anand, MD Mr Vikram Anand, Director Mrs Ruchi Anand, Principal Mr A.S.Sekhon and Vice Principal Mr Deepak Arora all were present over there. Theme of the event was Panchtatva- Save Life, Save Planet on which students presented a very effective choreography.

Anand Public Senior Secondary School celebrated Diwali Extravaganza

Anand Public Sen Sec School, Kapurthala, organised Deepawali Extravaganza on 25/10/2016. It was being inaugurated by Chairperson Mrs Varinder Kumari Anand, Director Mrs Ruchi Anand and Managing Director Mr Vikram Anand. All the students enjoyed and had various types of rides, eatables and games. Principal Mr Arvinder Singh Sekhon and Vice Principal Mr Deepak Arora addressed the students present over there and advised them to play safe and Eco- friendly Deepawali.

APS student beat students of 14 schools and won prize in Sahodaya Inter School D

APS student Sachleen Kaur of class 7th Yellow won 2nd position in 'Sahodaya Inter School Hindi Debate Competition' held in Bawa-Lalwani Public School, on 6th October 2016. This competition is designed by all the CBSE affiliated schools to check the knowledge, confidence and smartness of the participating students. Sachleen Kaur proved her ability as she competed with students of 14 schools and made the school proud of her.
Congratulating Sachleen on her achievement, Honorable Principal Mr A.S.Sekhon said “I am happy and proud to note that our student has excelled over so many students. Students like Sachleen grab the opportunity and prove their intelligence. I would also like to appreciate our teachers who are working so hard to make our students the best.”

Students of APS brought laurels to the school

Students of APS brought laurels to the school as they secured 2nd and 3rd position in essay competition conducted by Punjab Dairy Development Board in all over Punjab on 15/10/2016. Navpreet Singh of class 10+1 stood 2nd and Harshiv Sharma of same class got 3rd position in this competition. More than 5000 students from various schools of Punjab participated in the competition.
While congratulating the winners honorable Principal Mr A.S.Sekhon said that “We are glad on the achievement of our students, it is a proud moment for us as our students competed with almost 5000 students from all over Punjab and secured positions. We wish our students attain more and more in their lives.”

Our student brought laurels to the school as she bagged 1st position in PPMET-20

Navjot Kaur student of our school bagged 1st position in Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET-2016). Navjot left behind 4,154 candidates and stood 1st in the state. Navjot passed her 12th class (Medical) from APS with 88% marks. As they say that “Difficult Road often leads to beautiful destination”, same way hard work of Navjot paid off when the result came out and she topped the exam. Navjot gives credit to her School and Teachers she says, “I am very thankful to my school and Teachers as they always motivated me to chase my dreams and helped me out where I need it.” She adds, “There is no short cut to success if you want to achieve something then you will have to do hard work and only hard workers are able to taste the fruit of success.”

APS Celebrated Mothers Day

Anand Public Senior Secondary School celebrated the importance of Mother's love on Mother’s Day and guided students with different ways to appreciate their mother for all that they have done for the children. The students presented songs and poems dedicated to motherhood, along with very heartfelt thoughts about their mothers compassionate and selfless love. Aim of the celebration was to salute the tireless spirit of mothers.
Honorable Director Mrs Ruchi Anand and Respected Principal Mr AS Sekhon in their address complimented the endeavors of the staff as well as the students for putting such a stupendous way to express gratitude and love towards mothers. Students participated in many fun games with their mothers and won prizes.

Results for the session 2015-16

The result for XI class will be declared on 10th march at 2 PM.
New Session will commence from 14th March.
